Michelle White

Michelle brings over l 0 years of broad litigation experience to the firm, most recently serving as managing attorney for a national firm's Florida office. There she developed successful processes resulting in the recovery of millions of dollars for her clients.

Michelle obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami where she also ran track, was on the University 's Women's Cross Country team, and was a member of the Big East All Academic Team.

She then went on to St. Thomas University School of Law where she graduated cum laude and earned top student and book award accolades. She began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender where she litigated matters from arraignment through jury trial.

She transitioned to a civil practice in 2009 becoming especially adept at dispositive motion practice. She routinely handled all manner of pleadings and has successfully argued against sham defenses, obtaining hundreds of victories for her clients.

Successfully argued against a Motion for Summary Judgment involving a Florida Statute Section 713.16 Request for a Sworn Statement of Account; mitigated a client’s potential exposure with the DBPR resulting in a minimal fine as opposed to license revocation; negotiated collection on a construction lien in favor of a material supplier in excess of 180k; negotiated collection on a construction lien in favor of a subcontractor in excess of 30k; successfully litigated a product defect case involving impact windows resulting in removal and replacement of defective windows with no additional cost to client; resolved a client/subcontractor’s lien on a defunct construction project resulting in client’s lien being paid while in excess of 30 other lienors remain unpaid.
